Superb autobiography of the famous Scottish driver Innes Ireland who was the first man to win a world championship F1 Grand Prix for Team Lotus (USA 1961), also drove for Shelby Cobra, raced Ferrari 250 GTO and Aston Martin DB4GT and a host of other wonderful cars in a career spanning the 1950s and 1960s. Innes was a legendary party animal, always up for a laugh and hi-jinx, was a super fast driver, very brave and survived several enormous crashes before retiring to become a Journalist for AUTOCAR . Always reckoned one of the very best driver's books of the era.
