Covers the early development of the station, Robert Heaton Rhodes (Jnr) purchase of it, and later development of the station. Sections also recount the author's childhood and later marriage years spent on the station. The book includes several appendices on the areas of geology, flora, fauna and forestry. The book also includes a bibliography and index.
