Magnus Robot Fighter 4000 AD #44

This is a second-hand copy of Magnus Robot Fighter 4000 AD issue 44 from the original Gold Key series. It is bagged and boarded.

"Magnus acts swiftly to reactivate North Am's mysteriously immobilized robot population."

Magnus, Robot Fighter was created by Russ Manning and first published by Golden Key in 1963. The characters has since been published by Valiant Comics, Acclaim Comics, and more recently Dark Horse Comics. Magnus is a human who fights rogue robots in the year 4,000 A.D.

As Russ Manning only completed 21 issues, subsequent issues were a mix of new content by other writers, or reprints of earlier issues. Issue #44 reprints "Mission: Disaster!" from issue #23 with art by Dan Spiegle.

Condition: as visible in the product image, a retailer at some point has used a pen to change the comic price from 25 cents to 29 cents.
