Mad no. 46 April 1959
This is a second-hand copy of Mad issue #46 from April 1959. It is bagged and boarded to keep it safe. The remains of a sticker visible in the photo are actually on the outside of the protective bag, and not on the magazine itself.
The distinctive cover of this issue with "This is the end of Mad" is actually an April fools joke. Mad continued to run through till its final issue in April 2018.
