This is a second-hand copy of the book Reminiscences of an Old Settler in Australia and New Zealand by John Webster, J.P. (1818-1912). The book seems to cover memories of New Zealand around the years 1841 to 1846.
Condition: this is a former library book, now withdrawn. It has library stamps inside and other markings and insertions, such as bar codes, a security tag and the library loan sheet at the back. There are some markings in pen on the first few and last few pages, such as things librarians may have left. If there ever was a dust jacket it has been removed. The library covered the book in their regular plastic and taped it down. This has left yellowed tape marks on the boards and facing pages. The plastic has since become brittle and fallen off. White writing on spine for dewey decimal number. Also a slip of paper on spine with Rotorua Public Library on it, name of author and book. Booksellers stamp also on first page. Some age spots and foxing. Some pages have marks or stains, but not a lot. The spine is robust, if a bit stiff.
